Almond butter on celery
Almond butter on celery for dinner. Pretty good.
China Rice Bowl for dinner. The house special rice bowl. It really wasn't very good. Maybe I ordered the real thing -- if I stopped ordering the deep fried stuff it would at least be healthier.
Taking a day to pretend to be Scottsdale resort people, my dad, sister, and I lunched at Tommy Bahama. My salad was absolutely delicious, and the resort atmosphere was fun. A vacation in a day.
Introduced dad and Elizabeth to Chino Bandito for dinner. Emerald and Jade chickens. Yum.
Joe's Real Barbeque for lunch. Pork ribs, beef briscuit, applesauce, potato salad, bread, and a chocolate brownie for dessert, with Joe's root beer. Yum!
Chicken with lemongrass rice lean cousine for lunch, along with slices of turkey lunchmeat. Little Debbie fudge brownie for dessert.
Corn dog, corn, fries, and a scarily instant brownie. Water. I really like corn dogs. Better with ketchup, but I didn't find any around. Used to have some ketchup packets from some prior fast food run, must be out. Frozen meals on sale this month at Safeway for a dollar, incidentally.
Potluck lunch at Unicon. The meatballs were especially delicious. Lots of good veggies. I brought potato salad, which had the nice properties of being socially acceptable and commoditized for puchasing in tub quantities.
Breakfast: bowl of Kashi Heart to Heart cereal (do you Heart Kashi Heart to Heart? I Heart Kashi Heart to Heart). Coffee (Berres Bro's French Caramel Cream). Chocolate malt flavored Carnation Instant Breakfast. Skim milk.
Healthy choice turkey lunchmeat on wheat bread with tomato and spinach leaves for lunch. Somehow left me still hungry so followed up with a fudge brownie from the vending machine later.
Bowl of Kashi cereal with milk for breakfast, with a couple mugs of decaf Berres Brothers French Caramel Cream coffee.
Fat Burger and chocolate milkshake for dinner after happy hour (Blue Moon) for MB's transfer to the downtown office. Met a random single mom while waiting for the food and we had a nice chat about moving to Phoenix, the real estate industry, the blasted heat of the summer, and things to do in Phoenix.
